11 months!

Reagan is entirely too close to turning one! I cannot figure out how this year went so quickly and I don't even want to think about her turning one, but I'm also looking forward to seeing more of her personality come out. She is a spunky and fun little girl!

She babbles "mama" and "dada" and "ba" constantly but the other day she found a ball and clearly said "ba" so I'm counting that as her first word! It'll be so fun to see how she'll pronounce her brother's names in the next few months.

We were given this baby bike seat by generous neighbors and it opened up a whole new world of bike rides for us! Reagan can come with us now which means the entire family can ride together, instead of one parent at home with Reagan (or driving to DQ, cause we're not missing out on that!)

She tolerates the helmet as long as we're moving, but as soon as we're stopped...she does her best to get out!

Just doing her own thing, totally unphased by the hijinks happening around her!

Cute little lip watching her brothers play on the playground. Maybe she was bummed to be missing out?

Reagan's big enough to ride the baby trike! Now she gets to enjoy walking around the cul de sac as Jake and Reid speed by us on their bikes.

The other morning, Reid and Reagan truly played together! She watched him peek out from the tent and would crawl in to find him. When he popped his head out to see her, she'd laugh and try to find him again. She also tried to stick toys in his mouth and thought it was hilarious. It was so fun to watch her start to really interact with him!

On Labor Day, we hiked with friends at a nature park and Reagan got to ride in the big backpack! She was totally content to watch everyone around her and was a great little hiking buddy.

We all stopped for ice cream after the hike and a friend of ours used the tip of his ice cream cone to make Reagan her own little cone! It was so cute and you know she liked it, after she got used to the cold!

Reagan loves to look at books before her naps and bedtime, and she definitely still loves her morning nap. However it usually leaves her with lots of energy in the afternoon and sometimes her second nap is tricky, so she may be going to one nap here soon. I'm just glad she still puts her little hand behind her head when she's tired! I hope she doesn't outgrow that for a long while.

Reagan is so social and loves to watch people around her. She is plenty busy and keeps me more than occupied with moving cords and tiny toys away from her constantly. She's learned to climb up on the boys' little trampoline but she hasn't figured out how to get off safely. Thankfully she hasn't really noticed the stairs yet, but that will happen any day and we'll be back in the land of baby gates!

double digits!

The kids and I were in the playroom one Sunday afternoon when Reagan surprised us all and started crawling! She was motivated by a contraband Nerf bullet and the boys got *so* excited for her! There's no going back now-- she is quick as can be and never in one spot for long. She's quick to find any and every tiny piece of paper, mulch, etc. and shove them in her mouth but Nerf bullets are still her favorite thing to find (although hopefully I've rounded up all of them)! She figured out that the best crumbs are under our table so we find her under there pretty often.

Jake figured out that he can make Reagan chase the remote control cars! Its entertainment for both of them.

She loves to eat table food now and rarely has pureed baby food. She's pretty adept at feeding herself and can put away almost as much food as her brothers do; the other night she ate an entire quesadilla that was the same size I gave her brothers! (Surprisingly, black bean burger patties are one of her favorite foods!)

Reid wanted to help Reagan eat her spaghetti so badly! He barely eats without making a huge mess, yet he patiently helped her eat her entire bowl!

Such a fun summer! Children's Museum, slip n slides in the backyard, splash pads...anything to deal with the heat!

The week that Deric was at camp, the kids and I ate lunch at the library every single day. Reagan always beelined to this little game on the floor and it made me think I should tape some stickers to our floor to keep her busy!

Back again, another day!

She also pulled herself up for the first time at the library! We really love our library.

Reagan survived our hike at Turkey Run! I wasn't sure how long she would be content in the carrier but I fed her a constant stream of teething crackers and she made it almost to the very end before I had to switch her to the front. But we made it!

Reagan wakes up in a flash and is ready to play right away; there are no sleepy baby snuggles for me. She is alert and looking for whatever action she's missed during her naps.

She loves when Jake tickles her "toe-sies" (I love it too!) and she babbles/yells all day. Its mostly "dada" so we  know what her first word will mostly likely be.

Reid's latest nickname for her is "Reaga-pop" (he also calls Jake "Jatey-pop") and she hears a fair amount of "Reagan roogan farfanoogan" too, poor girl! She is so loved around here!
